Hi there

I have tried to evaluate this but can not find why I am getting a #value! error? Can anybody help?

=IF(AND(G6>0.1,G6<5.01),5),IF(AND(G6>5.01,G6<10.01),8),IF(AND(G6>10.01,G6<25.01),12.5),IF(G6>25.02,25)

G6 = 4%

Thanks in advance

Kind regards

Peter

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
I think some of your formula may have gotten cutten off due to how the board renders > and < because it thinks they are part of hmlt code.

Try pasting your formula in and putting spaces before and after the < and > because your formula isn't correct with how it looks now.

Let's get the numeric values straightened out first...

G6 = 4% (real value = 0.04)

Yet in your formula you're testing for values like 5.01, 10.01, etc.

Are those supposed to be percentages? 5.01%, 10.01%

4% in G6 is less than the smallest threshold value in the formula.

Here is the code with the spaces?

I did try the lookup code but it just gave me a N/A?

=IF(AND(G6 > 0.1,G6 < 5.01),5),IF(AND(G6 > 5.01,G6 < 10.01),8),IF(AND(G6 > 10.01,G6 < 25.01),12.5),IF(G6> 25.02,25)

Kind regards

Peter
