Cap cell total if above certain amount

Hello. Is there a formula that will allow a cell to show a number unless it is below a certain number?

In cell A3 I have the sum of A1 and A2 added to show a total of 150. If the total goes above 100 I would like A3 to only show the total as 100. If the cell total was 90 then it would remain as 90.

I know how to deduct a certain amount from a total but as there will be different totals in different cells and it will change daily it is not suitable.
