Does anyone know of an excel template that can convert a basic Trial Balance from Cash to Accrual basis and back again?

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
I haven't seen anything - although you should be able to make your own worksheet and plug in number pretty easily for a quick answer. You may find something on the web by searching for keywords accrual cash convert (or conversion). If nothing else, you'll hit some sites to lay out the steps and you can build your own worksheet (i.e., add back net change to accounts payable, deduct net change to accounts receivable, add back depreciation expense, etc.)try adding an excel keyword to see if you get lucky. You probably need to be aware of whether you're calculating this for the month or the whole year so you know what beginning balances to check for in the accounts (i.e., any accounts receivable at the end of last year is cash revenue this year, and any account receivable at the end of this year is not counted as revenue etc.). Hope this helps.

Natemoney2,

Have you checked your accounting software to see if this function already exists in the software?
