Hi

I use the following formula that returns a cell address
Excel Formula:
=CELL("address",INDEX($N$1:$N$1500,MATCH("*"&LEFT(S30,SEARCH("-",S30)-2)&"*",$N$1:$N$1500,0)))

This returns the cell address $N$65 which is correct.

However I would like to modify the formula so that instead of returning the cell address of $N$65 the formula would return the cell content of the same row but the next column i.e the contents of $O$65

Hope this makes sense

RBW.

Shade all formula cells
To shade all formula cells: Home, Find & Select, Formulas to select all formulas. Then apply a light fill color.
How about
Excel Formula:
=INDEX($O$1:$O$1500,MATCH("*"&LEFT(S30,SEARCH("-",S30)-2)&"*",$N$1:$N$1500,0))
