I have a table of numbers that dynamically change, they are linked from another sheet, which is taking some DDE input.

I would like to be able to either single left click on any of the cells with the number in & have either a formula or a macro execute. Alternativly can the text on a button be made dynamic so that I can click on that?

Many Thanks

Excel Facts

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.

How about a worksheet macro?

Alt+F11 or [Tools then Macro then Visual Basic Editor]

Under the VBAProject(YourFileName) Microsoft Excel Objects Click on Sheet#(YourSheetName)

In frame on the right that comes up choose "worksheet" and you should see the following:

_______________

Private Sub Worksheet_SelectionChange(ByVal Target As Range)

End Sub

_______________

Insert your code there.

I just asked similar questions earlier:

Hope that helps.

Hi

Thanks for the reply. Didn't realise it was so easy to trigger a macro from clicking on a cell. Exactly what I needed, just need to write the code now. :)
