Cell Selection Problem

Can anyone tell me why when I select a cell in Page Layout View the cell to the right is automaticly selected as well.

I only want to select one cell not two.

If you are using 2007, try changing the zoom level you are using.

I remember a colleague that had to press F8 to cure this but this is trawling the memory banks and I need actually saw this "live";)

Crook 101 thank you so much I do not believe it but your suggestion fixed the problem. I reduced the view from 100% to 75% and the problem has disappeared.

Is this a bug with Excel 2007
