Cell validation against a list in another workbook

Can I validate a cell against a list that lives on another WorkBOOK?

I can do it easily if the list is in the SAME workbook . . .

No you cannot. You'll have to link the list to the spreadsheet where you want to create a validation...and then validate THAT list.
