Cell Validation

Hello all,

Is there a way to ensure that a cell only contains a formula?

Using data validation you can use whole numbers, decimals, lists and so on, but I want to ensure that only a formula has been entered.

Any ideas?

Don't think you can do this with validation, but the below code should suffice...

Private Sub Worksheet_Change(ByVal Target As Range)
Application.EnableEvents = False
If Target.HasFormula = False Then Target.ClearContents
Application.EnableEvents = True
End Sub
