I am New to this so I will try to explain myself.
I have an IF function and want it to Return a 0 if false and a cell value if true. I get it to work BUT it Returns the CELL Number NOT the value in the cell.
What have I done wrong.

=IF((H16<0);"k16";"") This gives me k16 NOT 1000 which is the value in the cell.

It is 2010 Version

Thanks:(

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
Welcome to the forum.

Remove the " from the formula -

=IF((H16<0);k16;"")
