Range("H9") is Cell(9,5). How to know Cell's (x,y) for any cell?

Excel Facts

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
Try this.
Code:
Set rng = Range("H9")

x =rng.Row
y=rng.Column

MsgBox "x=" & x & vbCrLf & "y=" & y

Switch to R1C1 display mode (Tools | Options > General | check 'R1C1 reference style')
