Hi you lot :) I posted this problem a few weeks ago but didn’t get any replies so thought i would try again as im still having problems,
When i click on a cell it is fine but when i start entering anything into the cell it expands to cover the cell above and below it ?:confused: it then goes back to normal when i hit return,
Any ideas what is causing this to happen ? if not does anyone know anywhere else i could get the answer ?? :help:
<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
All help appreciated

Cheers

Hey Colin,

do you have this issue always? On all workbooks, also new and empty ones?
Does it happen in every cell?

I can't say I've seen that behaviour before...
Which version of Excel are you using?

Are you always near the edge of the screen when this happens?

Is it actually causing a problem?

Hi all :),
no not near the edge it happens anywhere on the worksheets :confused:.

No not anything to do with wrapping text, it happens to any cell wether it has a formula in it or just an empty cell :confused:.

And no this has never happened before it is only happening on this new worksheet/workbook that i have created :confused:. it doesnt happen with any other workbooks/worksheets that i have put together or any new workbook/worksheets that i have since put together . i may have somehow clicked on something while i was putting it together and didnt notice but no matter where i look i cant see anything out of the ordinary.
thanks for your comments, if you come up with any ideas i would love to know.

Cheers
