Hi. Can you please advise what is the easiest way (by click of a button) to change the sign of the cell. i.e. from a positive value to a negative value.
Thank you.

Excel Facts

Add Bullets to Range
Select range. Press Ctrl+1. On Number tab, choose Custom. Type Alt+7 then space then @ sign (using 7 on numeric keypad)
Try like this with a button from the Controls toolbar

Code:
Private Sub CommandButton1_Click()
With ActiveCell
    If IsNumeric(.Value) Then .Value = -.Value
End With
End Sub

Another way without using code.

Put the value -1 (minus one) into an empty cell and copy that value to the clipboard.

Highlight the value(s) to be changed

Select Edit > Paste Special

In the paste special dialog select "Values" & "Multiply" and click OK
