Change color cell in a formula.

Hi,
I need help in using an Excel Formula where is it possible to change the cell color.
First of all ... Is it possible?

For example in my formula

=MAX(IF(A1:A10="",,VALUE(SUBSTITUTE(A1:A10,"*",""))))

I wish to change color cell but non substitute a value.

Do you have any idea? May you gime me un example?

Have you looked at using Format>Conditional Formatting...?

You should check the online help for conditional formating. It allows you to change the format, based on 3 different conditions. Access the Option via the format menu in excel
