I need to sort my date column by birth month so we know when the employees birthdays are coming up, but we can not share their birth year.
How do I but that date in mm/dd and sort by month? When I do it, it keeps sorting by year. Please help....

Excel Facts

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
Hi and Welcome to the Board
Maybe something like this, but you might have to furnish more detail on "Full date"

Welcome to the board.

In another column, formatted as mm/dd,

=DATE(2000, MONTH(A2), DAY(A2))

Sort by that.
