I would like to if possible to run a procedure that replaces anything in the
selected row(S) with "TBD" but only in the following columns C,D,E,F,G,H,& I.

if possible i would also like it to work when the macro is run, if any cell within that row is selected, rather than the user having to select to full row,

Any help is appreciated

Ive tried relative referencing but was unable to work out how to get it to work
Thanks

Use Data, What-If Analysis, Goal Seek to find the correct input cell value to reach a desired result
You mean something like this?

Code:
Private Sub Worksheet_SelectionChange(ByVal Target As Range)
    If Target.Column > 2 And Target.Column < 10 Then
        Target.Value = "TBD"
    End If
End Sub
