Change worksheet area

How do I change the area used/defined in a worksheet. After hitting Ctl-'End' the cell I land on leaves a big area of empty cells. While I am sure those cells were used for something, they now are not and I would like the last cell of data to be the end of the worksheet area.

Thanks,

Jeff
