Hi,
I am kind of stuck with one problem. I am referencing some cells from a different sheet in my main sheet. Now I have to change the location of these sheets. But the problem is that the path will not be the same and I will run into issues.
Is there a way to resolve this?

Regards,

Chabuk

Excel Facts

How to fill five years of quarters?
Type 1Q-2023 in a cell. Grab the fill handle and drag down or right. After 4Q-2023, Excel will jump to 1Q-2024. Dash can be any character.
No I mean - The cells are in a different file and the main sheet is a different file. So if I move both these files to a different folder it will not update the path right?

I mean there are 2 separate files - The main sheet and the one from which it is getting the input. So if I change the location of these files to a different folder, there will be errors?

Ok, if you change the location of the workbook the reference path needs to be updated. You will get a question from Excel each time you're opening the workbook with the reference, so that you can update to the new path.

If you open both files in the same instance of Excel and save them using F12 (SaveAs), the relative paths will be updated automatically.
