changing column number in formula automatically

Thanks for your help in creating an IF statement but now I would like to change the column numbers automatically and have the formula in every column.

ie. =If(O32="G",N32*0.06,"")
then I want this to change to
=IF(O33="G",N33*0.06,"")

Is there a way of having the column numbers change automatically in every column so that I don't have to enter this to over 200 columns?

Thanks

I was playing around with andrews formula and it does work if the GST is in row 32 so maybe I haven't made my self clear.

What I need to do is take different items in each row and have the GST calculated IF GST is applied to that item. It is not always applied and I want a formula that will look at each row seperately and figure out the GST IF GST is applicable. How I want it to know if it is applicable is by putting a G in the O column.

Sorry if I am confusing you.

Excel Facts

What is the fastest way to copy a formula?
If A2:A50000 contain data. Enter a formula in B2. Select B2. Double-click the Fill Handle and Excel will shoot the formula down to B50000.

I think that I understand your problem.
Please read my answers and think what I wrote, so you have a solution.

I think.

Use your own formula with no "$" signs an copy it to all rows.

I tried the formula that I had posted and it still doesn't work. I comes up with no results but if I change the O32 and N32 in the formula to match with a line that has a G then the formula works. But I was trying to get around having to change the formula for each line.

Make a simple test.

Put in A1 number 1
Put in A2 number 2
Put in A3 =+A2+A1
Copy A3 down

Formulas should look like this now in cells A1:A6:
1
2
=+A2+A1
=+A3+A2
=+A4+A3
=+A5+A4

If they don't , there is something wrong with your Excel.
