Hey all!

I have a very large excel sheet that has around 5-6K rows whose format has to be changed to make it in a more readable form. I have uploaded a sample file in the below link location which would give you all a better idea on what I am trying to do.

Download Link: http://www.speedyshare.com/files/30269404/report_with_proper_format.xls

In the sample file, the format in “AREA A” is what I currently have and “AREA B” is what I want it to be converted to. The data in orange in “AREA A” is one purchase and data in purple are the three sales done against this purchase.

What would be the best way to get this done? I tried doing it using pivot table but it didn’t really help.

Thanks in advance!

Excel Facts

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.
could it be that the example file doesn't exist??

without seeing it, Can you higlight the area that is formatted correctly, hit Edit->Copy, go to the unformatted area and hit Edit->PasteSpecil->Formats???
