changing positive values to negative

What would be the easiest way to make a group of figures that are positive values to negative values.

Enter -1 in a spare cell, right click and choose Copy. Select the cells with negative values, right click, choose Paste Special|Values|Multiply and press Enter.

Put -1 in a cell.

Copy it, select the range of positive numbers.

Goto Paste Special and select multiply in the Operation section.
