Hi,

At the end of executing a macro, I need it to change the name of one of the tabs to reflect the prior day's date in the following format

If today is 3/3/2011, the tab should be named "MTD Mar 2, 2011 Detail"

What's the proper code to use for this?

Thanks!

Hi,

Ive based this as in your using the current active sheet within the workbook,

You can change this as required.

Code:
ThisWorkbook.ActiveSheet.Name = "MTD " & Format(Date, "mmm") & " " & DatePart("d", Date) & ", " & DatePart("yyyy", Now) & " Detail"

This outputs likes this:

MTD Mar 3, 2011 Detail

Hope this helps
