How do I print the character for "less than or equal to" in my spreadsheet (and ultimately into a label on a chart)? <= is not good enough, I need the character with one line under the <. Any ideas?

Excel Facts

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
Is there a way of doing this in Excel? I always go to the Start Menu Character Map. The Mathematical Symbols are then a Subset.

Go to the start menu, then Programs...Accessories...Character Map.

Choose Arial font, and Mathematical Operators subset.
Choose the required operator (about five down, five across), then copy, then paste in Excel.

Well, i had a similar concern referring to the plus-minus symbol.Actually i wanted to make a table with experimental data, copy it from excel to word and then print it also.U can insert the symbol into excel by using the equation editor, but the problem is that u can c the symbol but u cannot print it (i don't if this matters u).So, i found a simple way u can do this.

1)Use a search engine to find a website that refers to the symbol u want.In your case search for "less or equal symbol".
2)Copy the symbol from the website.
3)Paste it into the cell u want (double click the cell before pasting so that the cell opens!).

I hadn't installed the Charachet map first place :( so i had to do something else.
