Chart data labels print problem

Excel 2007: I have a workbook with VBA that imports data, creates a pivot table, and then reates a pivot chart. The data labels are customized to display below the axis. The chart looks fine visually, but when I print preview, print to printer, print to PDF, the data labels are not vertically aligned vertically correctly.

This process worked correctly in Excel2003.
I have Snagit images but not sure how to post here.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
