Chart problems

I want to create a chart in Excel showing monthly accident numbers. This should be a line graph that has a running total of the numbers, however I want the data to show a monthly value, with a total at the end. Please help, when I try this I get jumps from month to month, just want an increasing graph line.
 

Excel Facts

Format cells as currency
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+4 to format cells as currency. (Shift 4 is the $ sign).
It's not clear what your problem is here -more precisely, you haven't given us enough info to support a diagnosis or remedy.


How about posting back with more about the data you are plotting, how it is set up on the spreadsheet etc

As mark W. shows, but I want to create a graph generated from the cumulative column values, but showing just the monthly values in a data table below the graph.
