Chart Query - Shaded Area or line delineator

Hi

This may be an easy one for chart aficionado's - of which I am not.

I have a timeline that checks two data points against each other and charts their relationship. At the moment one axis is the month per year, the other the value calculated.

End product is how I want it to look in the picture below.

However I would like to add further information along the date axis, as to which employer is relevant - in the example below there is a move from A to B in May 1976.

I would like either a shading with label to show "all A" and then "all B" - but playing the charts I don't come close (see mock up). If not a shading then maybe a simple delineating dotted line to show a change.

Can that done?
