Hi All,

I want to plot a chart which has an upper limit of 45 and lower limit of 40.

All my charting values should be bracketed in between these floor and ceiling limits. The objective is that any value falling outside these limits would be picked up and noticed easily.

Please could someone assist me on how to go about plotting it. I tried but got no luck.

Thanks,
Andy

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
I would suggest making the following a Stacked Column or Stacked Area Chart with a Combo Line Chart

YOu would need 3 series

1 = Line
2 = Stacked Area all the same value of the lower range of the band
3 = stacked area all the same value of the difference between the upper band limit and the lower band

a) Plot them all as area chart
b) change the series for the line to a line chart
c) change the fill to NONE for the lower range of the band.

you now have a banded chart that shows when you are out of tollerance.
