How do you insert "x"s next to a number & chart the value of the number? I have a pictured example of what I'm referring to but I do not see an option for attachments.

When I simply put the x next to the number, it illustrates that value as zero on the graph. Does that make sense?

Instead of putting the x in the cell next to the number, create a custom format for the cell that includes "x" at the end. This way the x will appear in the cell and on the chart but won't affect the cell value or where it is plotted on the chart.
