I am doing an office football pool in Excel.
I have added a check box next to one team and another check box next to the other team.
How do I prevent users from checking both boxes?
If one box is checked and a user attempts to check the other, I would like it to not allow that, or popup a message.

Thanks in advance

Excel Facts

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand

Hi,

concentrating on this sentence
How do I prevent users from checking both boxes?
my suggestion would be to use OptionButtons

you can group them 2 by 2
OptionButtons created with Forms toolbar
create a frame
putting "linked" option buttons in frame

OptionButtons created with Controls toolbar
hold shift and select several option buttons
set the Groupname property to the same name

kind regards,
Erik

EDIT: if you want to fill a large range with optionbuttons you can use some code
