I am having some syntax issues here. I would like to check to see if AutoFilter is turned on. If it is then nothing happens. If it is not turned on, I want it on. I have this so far. I am using the msgbox to test the condition

Code:
Cells.Select
If Selection.AutoFilter = True Then
  MsgBox ("AutoFilter is ON!")
ElseIf
Selection.AutoFilter '<----- here I want to turn them on
Endif
End sub

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
Code:
 If ActiveSheet.AutoFilterMode = True Then
    MsgBox "AutoFilter is ON!"
Else
    MsgBox "AutoFilter is OFF!"
Endif
