Hello,

Having issues finding a formula that checks is a range is empty, AND does not have a formula in it.

For instance... I want A1 to show "Project Title" IF there are ANY values in A2:A7. Otherwise it would be blank.

Thank ahead of time!

Excel Facts

How to fill five years of quarters?
Type 1Q-2023 in a cell. Grab the fill handle and drag down or right. After 4Q-2023, Excel will jump to 1Q-2024. Dash can be any character.
How about
=IF(COUNTBLANK(A2:A7)=6,"","Project title")

I guess I misunderstood. According to your requirement, 2 conditions must be met:
1. That the cells are empty.
2. And that the cells have no formulas.

If you only want to check if the cells are empty, then it is only a condition. So Fluff's formula is correct.
