Is there a quick way to see to a particular value is in a validation list?

The cell in question contains data validation but ShowError is set to false, to allow users to input whatever figure they desire.

I want to check if they value currently contained in the cell is within the Validation list.

Thanks

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
Perhaps use conditional formatting using a MATCH formula as the condition?
Excel Formula:
=MATCH(entered_item,validation_list,FALSE)
