Checkbox Help

I need help someone! I created a great form and utilized numerous checkboxes (from Developer/insert/active X) and it worked great....yesterday. Today when I went into the form, the checkboxes wont check, they just highlight as though I'm going to edit them. Can someone help?

Are you in Design mode?

Well, I'm not good at this stuff, but I originally could click on Design mode, and now I can't. It didnt work either way.

I cannot turn design mode off for some reason. This is probably why my issue. Any suggestions on how to turn it off?

Try double clicking on a cell. Once the cell is selected, you should be able to leave Design mode.
