Clear contents of cell BUT not the IF code within it

Morning,
I have the code below being used on a worksheet & all works fine.

Private Sub ClearSheet_Click()
Range("A4:H28").ClearContents
Range("B1:C1").ClearContents
Range("A4").Select
End Sub

I needed the same thing for another worksheet so i copied the code & changed the range.
What happens now is i see the IF statement in the cells also being cleared.

Dont see why on one sheet it doesnt do it but on this sheet it does ?

Do you see an issue or can you please advise another code which will not delete the IF statement in the cells.

    On Error Resume Next
    Range("A4:H28").SpecialCells(xlCellTypeConstants).ClearContents
    Range("B1:C1").SpecialCells(xlCellTypeConstants).ClearContents
    On Error GoTo 0
    Range("A4").Select
End Sub
