Clearing clipboard

Am using VBA to open a wkb and copy large chunks from one wks to another. When the wkb is closed (programmatically), a warning msg is thrown up, about the quantity of data left on the clipboard and should it be retained/removed?

Haven't spotted the 'correct' method of clearing the clipboard. My work-around is to copy a single cell prior to wkb close, or else to suppress DisplayAlerts.

What is the proper/is there a better, way?

Please advise,

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
Doh! Just like Mother/macro recorder does it!

Knew there was something right at the edge of consciousness...

Thanks,
