Code to autofill???

I searched for this topic, to no avail:

In sheet "scan_here" I have two cells in which the value of a scanned part will show up. C5 is the cell which will show the value of the INCOMING scan (incoming meaning, inventory coming in). Once that value is in C5, I will like to create a macro which will throw that value into the first "open" cell in sheet "SCAN_INVENTORY" column A.

Can anyone help??

Try something like this:

Dim Limit as Long
Limit = Sheets("SCAN_INVENTORY").Cells(Rows.Count,1).End(xlUp).Row + 1
Sheets("scan_here").Range("C5").Copy Destination:= Sheets("SCAN_INVENTORY").Cells(Limit,1)
