codional formating if two cells match two other cells

hi,

i need a condional format for the following

if both cells e6 and f6 match any other two cells next to each other in any row from e6 to x24 then true,

please can someone help me with this as i can do one cell or any two cell but not any two cells next to each other?

hi no that only looks at the two cells meantioned

Select the whole range E6:X24, starting the selection at E6 so that E6 is the active cell then apply this formula in conditional formatting:
=OR(AND(E6=$E$6,F6=$F$6),AND(D6=$E$6,E6=$F$6))
You can clear the conditional formatting from E6:F6 afterwards if you want.
