Color only numbers but not the entire cell

I am Pramod Kumar using excel2007. I am facing problem in giving color on below given criteria.

if value is between 90-100 (number colour in Green)
80-89 (Then Yellow)
79-0 (Then Red)

My major problem is that my manager do not wants to color the entire cell rather he wants to color only number or percentage on abaove given criteria rather than colouring entire cell.

Please help me out. Please let me know, if my points are not clear to you.

I know the way how to color them but it will color the entire cell, but I want to color only numbers and not entire cell in which number exisit.

When using conditional format, click on "Custom Format" and you can specify to change just the text colour in there...

I don't understand what you mean.

If you specify a different font colour only the caracters will change colour, not the cell background.

Do you mean you have other characters in the cell besides the number?
