column heading

Hi,

Why is it that when I open some excel files the columns have numbers, while when I open other (old) files they have letters. It's very confusing in making formula's....

Please help me how to format this column heading.

Welcome to the Board!

Go to Tools>Options-General tab and uncheck the R1C1 reference style check box
