Column Measurement Defaults

Can I change the default measurements for the columns to something else (inches). I am trying to fill in a form that has boxes, check off boxes, etc. and it would be easier if the column width defaults could be set to inches.

Somehide hide payroll data in column G? Press F5. Type G1. Enter. Look in formula bar while you arrow down through G.
Hi marshall,
Use this in your required excel workbook, in the Workbook_Open event. It will get you almost to one inch cells........!

Private Sub Workbook_Open()
With Cells
.ColumnWidth = 13.3
End With
End Sub
