Column number of cell location in array

Is there a way to search for a number in a array and return the column number within the array of that cell?

example: Cells F1:K1 contain the numners numbers 1-6. I want to lookup number 3 and return number 3 because number 3 is in the third column of the array. (I suppose I would settle for returning for the column number of the sheet, 8 in this case for column H)

Thanks
