Why does my text disappear when I am trying to use columns in a text box? I can see it and it looks good while I am in text edit mode, then as soon as I close out of edit mode my text disappears.

Also, if I just have text in the first column I am fine.

Excel Facts

How to change case of text in Excel?
Use =UPPER() for upper case, =LOWER() for lower case, and =PROPER() for proper case. PROPER won't capitalize second c in Mccartney
I don't really know...interesting quirk though. [repeatable in mso2007]
I saw a few MS blogs, but no deffinitive answers.

Something to try (depending on how critical this is) ....
Create a document in Word, split the doc to desired columns (Page Setup)
(I also resized it custom size)
Save and close that Word doc.
Then Excel: Insert/Object and select your document you just created.
Offers all the functionality of Word (which is considerably more than Text Box).
