HI guys

A simple question - how can I easily convert a column of approx 100 numbers into a CSV string without having to manually enter a concatenation formula like =CONCATENATE(F1,", ",F2,", ",F3 etc ad on unitl F100.)

Can someone short cut this for me in anyway

Data in cells A1 to A100 and just need to be sparated by a comma and space

Excel Facts

Enter current date or time
Ctrl+: enters current time. Ctrl+; enters current date. Use Ctrl+: Ctrl+; Enter for current date & time.
Re: Columns to CSV or concatenation problem - easy to solve

see the example:
Book2
ABCD
1NumberString
21234561,2,3,4,5,6
31231,2,3
41234561,2,3,4,5,6
5121,2
612345674891,2,3,4,5,6,7,4,8,9
Sheet1

the formula is:

=MCONCAT(MID(A2,INTVECTOR(LEN(A2),1),1),",")

which needs to be array entered using control + shift + enter. mconcat & intvector are functions from the morefunc addin (see the recommended links etc post @ the top of the board for the link).

re-reading - got your requirement totally wrong! still using morefunc addin:

=MCONCAT(A1:D1,",")

will produce a comma sep string - although why not just save the file as csv?
