I have two lists of data where all subjects are identified by numbers. I would like to combine the lists and sort by the identifying number. However, in one of the lists the number format is 1234561, 1234562, 1234563, 1234564,etc. The other list the nubmers are formatted at 123-45-61, 123-45-62, 123-45-63, etc.

I have tried to manipulated the 'format cells', 'number' box by changing all the cells to '0000000', but that didn't work. Is there a way to remove the hyphen and format all the cells the same so that i can sort them correctly?
