Combining text data from 2 cells into 1

This may be a simple question.

I download raw data from a database system.
But each time, some of the row of text is cut into 2 cells.
Does anyone know a simple way to combine the 2 cells into 1, so I have the text in the same cell?

In an unused column you can use =A1&B1, then Copy-->Paste Special-->Values and replace your original data.
