I have a data validation in sheet4 cell C2 I want a userform in sheet1 to have combobox that is linked to sheet4 cell C2. So if the combobox changes value the data validation in sheet4 changes as well. Any ideas???

Excel Facts

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.
Userform's aren't specific to a sheet.

I'm not sure what you are looking for.
Do you want a userform that will change the options available on the validation list for Sheet4!C2?
Or do you want selection from the userform's combobox to change the cell value in Sheet4!C2?
or some combination of those two or something else?

Secondary question, do you want the desired action to be triggered by selection from the combobox or by clicking a button? Do you want the user to be able to undo that action?

I want the comboBox to alter the values in the data Validation which will activate a macro. But I want the user to be able to alter the value in the cell with data validation at any time.

Just at the start I want the user to use the combobox first in Sheet1.

What does this mean, "the values in the data Validation which will activate a macro"

By "values in the data Validation" do you mean the values in the list of options from the user to choose?

When do you want that macro to be run, when the userform changes the Validation list or when the user makes a choice in the cell?

Where is the cell getting its current validation list? From a range (if so what range) or from an explicit list?

Hi I figured it out a different way. I'm managed to create an input box to Ask user to enter value which will run macros. :)
