¿Como crear una advertencia de macro no activadas?

Tengo claro que no es posible "forzar" a un
usuario a que automáticamente active las macros.

Sin embargo me gustaría saber si existe alguna variable de sistema que me permita saber si se han activado o no para poder desplegar un cuadro de advertencia que diga algo así como: "Ud. no ha activado las
macros, este libro no funcionará correctamente".

No, pero se pueden ocultar todas las hojas, y en el evento Workbook_Open() desocultarlas (Ocultándolas nuevamente en el Workbook_BeforeClose() ), y dejando únicamente visible una hoja que diga algo como:

Tiene que habilitar las macros para usar este libro. De esta forma, si el usuario no habilita los macros, solo verá esta hoja de advertencia, y no podrá utilizar el libro.
