Compare 2 colums and count the number of differences

Hi all,

something that should be quite simple but i just cant figure it:

i have the following data:

Audit Assessment

Yes

Yes Yes

Yes

and i'd like to be able to have a count at the top of the second row showing the number of differences between the 2 columns without adding another column, (2 in the example above) how would i do this?

Enter the formula "=SUM(IF(A2:A4=B2:B4,0,1))"

And Hit Ctrl+Shift+Enter.

I avoid them like the plague too....dont really understand them, but the evaluate formula helps
