I have a Sales Receipt Form in Excel that gets prepopulated from another work sheet within the same workbook called customers info sheet. In cell G3 of the Sales Receipt sheet the cell is populated with the date from the customers info sheet. In another sheet is a list of products with the headers

Model Description Cost Price Effective Date

Manufacturers change their prices at different times during the year but the model names dont change so I need a formula for the sales receipt that will take into account the date in Cell G3 before looking it up in the products sheet so it can return the price of the product with the most current date associated with it. Any advice on how to create this formula would be greatly appreciated.
