Greetings.

Im not sure how to do this, but Im sure its a lay-up for many here.

Im thinking : compare, vlookup, index/match or conditional formatting or some combination thereof.

Issue:

I can export a csv file that has a set of customer records; names, acct numbers etc, and it has some of the info i want in, say columns A thru H.
Lets call this the target set.

I can export another csv file that has extra data in additional columns, lets say I thru P attached to the many, if not all, of the same customer records, but its in a different sheet.

What id like to do is look at the account number column on target set, and if that account number is present on the sheet with the extra data, to then take and copy that extra data back to the sheet with the target set, essentially matching the extra data to each specific account number.

Bottom line: My target set lacks some additional data in columns that i'd like appended to the right of the existing data on a per account number basis.

I hope Im clear with this.

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
Please upload one file with 4-5 rows as example. & please use XL2BB.

In which column is the account number in the target set and in which column is the account number in the sheet with the extra data in additional columns? What are the names of those two sheets?
