I wasn't able to find a solution based on searching the forum...

I'm looking for a way to compare a day as a word and as a date.

For example, I have the word 'Sunday' in A1 and the date January 16, 2022, formatted as Sunday (dddd format), in A2. Is there a way to make a formula in A3 that will compare the two and say that they match because they both say Sunday even though one is a word and the other is a date?

Excel Facts

Shade all formula cells
To shade all formula cells: Home, Find & Select, Formulas to select all formulas. Then apply a light fill color.
How about
Excel Formula:
=a1=text(a2,"dddd")
